‘Tis The Season To Be Thankful…

by Lisa Cadigan

ThankfulThere are so many exciting things brewing here at Cadigan Creative as we begin the holiday season. First, I want to tell all of you who actually read and participate in this community how thankful I am for your words, for your work and for the impact that both have had on me and on the people around you.

I am also thrilled and thankful that some of my photography will be exhibited at the Adams County Arts Council’s Holiday Show, beginning on Friday, December 6 and continuing through the end of the year. It’s my first venture into displaying and attempting to sell my art to the public, and I am honored to participate. Over the coming weeks here on the blog, I will be featuring many of the talented artists whose work is also being exhibited and sold during this wonderful community event. Thirty percent of all sales will support the Adams County Arts Council, so if you are local, be sure to make the Holiday Show one of your shopping stops or special events during the holiday season.  You can also donate directly to the ACAC if you click here.

If you’re not local, there are still a variety of ways that your holiday shopping can give back. First, I have added a “shop” page to the site, featuring my new Etsy shop, where you will find some my photography. A percentage of all sales will be donated to the Adams County Arts Council and the Monkee See – Monkee Do organization, both 501(c)3 non-profits whose work is near and dear to my heart. Second, in the spirit of gratitude for the great articles contributed by and featuring so many amazing people over the last year, I am connecting you with the work of some of Cadigan Creative’s featured artists in the shop, too. Click here to find links to online shops, books for sale and other services that are creatively changing the world for the better.

Is your work creatively making a difference in the world? Tell me about it, and we can feature it here. Looking forward to a holiday season filled with gratitude, service and joy.
